Sewing Machine Demonstrations at Baby Lock Open House

Thanks to all of you who attended our open house to celebrate our new Baby Lock Dealership. Sewing machine demonstrations, prize draws, and special guests were the highlights of the day.

Now a Baby Lock Dealer

I’ve been a Baby Lock Ambassador for years and have been privileged to work with the Unity, the Tiara II sit-down quilting machine and the Destiny II, so it was a no-brainer when I had the opportunity to become a Baby Lock dealer at the ABQ Sewing Studio. I have loved every one of my machines.

We were very fortunate with the weather for the weekend of the open house, especially since we were welcoming Jeanne C. from Halifax and Joyce Stringle from London (the former owner of Joyce’s Sewing) as our special guests and sewing experts.

Sewing Machine Demonstrations

Kelley Richardson and I spent some time preparing demos for this event so we’d be able to show you all the modern features built into these machines. Kelley is a quilting instructor here at ABQ Sewing Studio.

We scanned one of my hand embroidery patterns on the Destiny II and it converted it to a digital file so we could stitch it on the machine. It only took minutes to complete this cute embroidery!

If you’ve not bought a sewing machine in the last 10 years you’ll be amazed at how much easier they make your sewing experience and the new functionalities they have built in.

We had a very busy open house, and at the end of the day I had Joyce Stringle draw for our grand prize – the Zeal Sewing Machine.
