How an Encounter in China Led To a Canadian Art Quilts Display in Taiwan
I first met members of The Taiwan Art Quilt Society (TAQS) at the Chinese show I attended, and I learned that they were very interested in global environmental issues, and expressed these concerns through works of fiber art. They asked me to organize a showing of art quilts by Canadian artists to be displayed at their quilt show in Taiwan.

Return to China: More Adventures of a Canadian Designer
This trip to China was really busy! I had a display at the quilt exhibit, taught some classes, was interviewed on television, gave a speech, and went to a huge commodities market. At the end of the trip we hiked up Xiang Lu Mountain and toured the old city of Shaoxing by riverboat.

Business Adventures of a Quilter and Bag Maker in China
My first trip to China in 2014 was a real eye opener. I was invited to talk about quilting, but I also took along some bag samples. Despite the size of the China Textile City Textile Expo, there was nothing else at the show like my humble little booth.
