A quilt pattern for children
This twin size quilt pattern uses pre-printed squares. It makes a lovely gift for a child that they will treasure forever.
The story behind the quilt
This twin-size quilt pattern was created with my granddaughter, 3-year-old Ada, in mind.
One of Ada’s mom’s heroines in science was Ada, The Countess of Lovelace. You can read more about this astute woman who was way ahead of her time here.
When it was time to create Ada’s first big girl quilt I knew I had to bust free of the typical stereotypes – so no princesses or unicorns for Ada. She’s a space girl and will be Seeing Stars in her future.
Personalize for a child’s interests
Make a quilt with a child’s interests in mind and it will be cherished for years.
