ABQ has been open at our new location at 15 Centre St. West in Strathroy since late April, but on Thursday, June 2, 2022, we celebrated the move to this much larger space with a grand re-opening.

Guess the Block contest
We had a contest to “guess the block” seen on the front of our building.
Winner
Carol MacDonald was the winner of the contest. The answer is the aptly named Prosperity Block. She found it in her copy of the Encyclopedia of Pieced Quilt Patterns, which is a reference for all known quilt blocks in the world.
Here she is with her prize, a fat quarter pack.

We hope you’ll drop in to see us when you’re in the area. Our store is fully stocked with everything you need for sewing projects large and small, from quilts and bags to home decor and garments.
We sell Baby Lock sewing machines, patterns designed by Brenda Miller and others, a wide range of fabrics, ABQ brand zippers, a variety of quality threads, and a selection of notions. Most of what we sell is also available online.
