Free Classes With a Baby Lock Sewing Machine Purchase

Embroidery motifs

I’ve been playing with the embroidery machines here at the ABQ Sewing Studio. Baby Lock embroidery machines are loaded with some really nice motifs and I am looking forward to adding more embellishment to my life using them.

I never thought I’d like embroidery as much as I do and have to laugh when somebody comes into the studio, hears a sewing machine running, and asks who’s stitching in the back room. ‘Me’, I say.

Pillow project

Using the Accord, a sewing and embroidery machine, I stitched out the popcorn box and then re-hooped to add the wording. This will make a great pillow for a young couple I know.

Gifts for family

I traveled to Ottawa last week for a few days and wanted to bring some gifts along. This one was for my daughter-in-law Leah. I purchased the mauve denim jacket at our local Loblaw’s Joe Fresh and stitched out a steam-punk koi using the Destiny II.

Sun Motif

Sun motif on jacket
Earlier, I had used another denim jacket to stitch this sun motif on the Destiny II.

Check out the embroidery machines online at Baby Lock.

Then come into the shop to see how they work. Remember, you get free classes with any Baby Lock machine purchase!

Hi Patricia, if you live anywhere near us, you can pop in and will show you how to properly thread your machine. It does sound like you have not threaded it properly. Also, check your spool to make sure that the thread isn’t getting stuck on a little notch on your thread spool. I’d also suggest looking at your manual once again, and making sure you were threading the top thread properly.
