Ellipse: A Modern Mid-Sized Bag With Adjustable Straps

The ellipse bag is runway ready with its graceful scoop back curves, peek-a-boo lining, and secure magnetic closure.

This modern mid-sized handbag pattern makes a bag that may also be worn as a shoulder bag or crossbody.  The adjustable strap gives options for all three.

The graceful wrap-around outer pockets offer practical storage for keys and cell phone. A fully lined interior offers a large zip top pocket and a wide patch pocket.

The ellipse bag measures 12.5″ (H) x 8″ (W) x 4.5″ (D). The adjustable strap gives up to a 18″ drop or can be shortened to a comfortable 9″ drop to carry as a handbag.

A comment from Gwynne McGahey

I bought the pattern at your booth at the Creative Festival in Mississauga in Spring 2015. I finally got it made up this week. I met you personally at that show and as this is the first one of your bag patterns I have made I wanted to tell you I really appreciated how clear and concise your directions were.
