Highlights of 2023
It was certainly a busy year and we did our best to make the most of it. Thanks to everyone who joined us to shop, learn, and sew. Here are a few of the highlights, with a few personal moments in addition to notable events at the Studio.
Happy New Year 2023! The kids and grandkids visit and we go to SAMY’s Alpaca Farm and Fibre Studio near Strathroy where we take the Alpaca’s for a stroll.
Hubby Rob on his way out wearing his new jacket which I sewed from our 8 wale corduroy.
Irene begins teaching students how to sew during her Sew Anything Saturdays.
In 2024, Irene continues to help sewists wherever they’re stuck with a new program called Sewcial Assistance.
Brenda begins to design the Kathryn Bag pattern.
This bag pattern is now for sale online and at ABQ Sewing Studio.
Planning begins for the 1st annual Quilt Crawl.

Brenda hamming it up with Mary Lou and Gail in Kelley’s weekly Tuesday class.
Carol and Hank, part of a Homeward Bound Bag class, designed and taught by Brenda.

Kelley runs a fun Demo Day with our full line of Baby Lock Sergers.

Each month we feature a different pattern that’s free with any purchase at our online store or at ABQ Sewing Studio. Some patterns have kits available for purchase. The free pattern changes every month.
