New beginnings: ABQ Sewing Studio becomes The Wobbly Bobbin
Changes are happening at ABQ Sewing Studio! On May 1, 2026, the Studio at 15 Centre Street West in Strathroy, Ontario takes on a delightful new name: The Wobbly Bobbin. Soon, you’ll see transformations to the exterior of the store, and differences in our online presence. Brenda Miller is turning the Sewing Studio in Strathroy over to a new owner, Heather Cousins.
Heather takes over the current space and continues to offer sewing machines, fabric, notions, classes, and more under the Wobbly Bobbin name. The online store also changes to the Wobbly Bobbin.
Brenda continues to operate Among Brenda’s Quilts & Bags, but the focus is on pattern design and she no longer runs the Studio in Strathroy. From her online store, she sells paper patterns, PDF downloads, and online video classes based on her designs. Online video classes currently on her Make Bags With Brenda site are being transferred to her online store, and everyone who has purchased a video class in the past will be notified of new access details in May, 2026.
