SECTION 1 – WHAT DO WE DO WITH YOUR INFORMATION?
When you purchase a Service from this site, as part of the buying and selling process, we collect the personal information you give us such as your name, address and email address.
When you browse our site, we also automatically receive your computer’s internet protocol (IP) address in order to provide us with information that helps us learn about your browser and operating system. We may collect personal identification information from site users in a number of ways, such as blog update subscriptions, membership site enrolment, class enrolment, form submission and other activities and resources we make available on our site.

- Provide membership services to wholesale customers.

When you provide us with personal information to complete a transaction, verify your credit card, place an order, arrange for a delivery of our Service or return a purchase, we imply that you consent to our collecting it and using it for that specific reason only.
If we ask for your personal information for a secondary reason, like marketing, we will ask you directly for your expressed consent, or provide you with an opportunity to say no.
How do I withdraw my consent?
Email marketing : With your permission, we may send you emails about our site, new classes and other Services and other updates. Every email newsletter and alert we send contains a link that allows you to remove yourself from our list(s). In addition, you may email us at brenda@amongbrendasquilts.com or mail us at Among Brenda’s Quilts, 15 Centre St. W. Strathroy ON N7G 1T5, to request removal from any of our lists. Note that unsubscribing from an email list does not automatically cancel the associated membership service.

We may disclose your personal information if we are required by law to do so or if you violate our Terms of Service.
SECTION 4 – PAYMENT
If you choose a direct payment gateway to complete your purchase, then it stores your credit card data. It is encrypted through the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS). Your purchase transaction data is stored only as long as is necessary to complete your purchase transaction. After that is complete, your purchase transaction information is deleted.
All direct payment gateways adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by our store and its service providers.

We collect information about you during the checkout process on our store.
What we collect and store
While you visit our site, we’ll track:
- Products you’ve viewed: we’ll use this to, for example, show you products you’ve recently viewed
- Location, IP address and browser type: we’ll use this for purposes like estimating taxes and shipping
- Shipping address: we’ll ask you to enter this so we can, for instance, estimate shipping before you place an order, and send you the order.
We’ll also use cookies to keep track of cart contents while you’re browsing our site.
When you purchase from us, we’ll ask you to provide information including your name, billing address, shipping address, email address, phone number, credit card/payment details and optional account information like username and password.
If you create an account, we will store your name, address, email and phone number, which will be used to populate the checkout for future orders.
Subscriptions
For the purposes of processing recurring subscription payments, we store the customer’s name, billing address, shipping address, email address, phone number and credit card/payment details.
Members of our team have access to the information you provide us. For example, both Administrators and Shop Managers can access:
- Order information like what was purchased, when it was purchased and where it should be sent, and
- Customer information like your name, email address, and billing and shipping information.
Our team members have access to this information to help fulfill orders, process refunds and support you.

SECTION 5 – THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
In general, the third-party providers used by us will only collect, use and disclose your information to the extent necessary to allow them to perform the services they provide to us. For example, we use certain third party service providers to provide email alerts and web hosting.
However, certain third-party service providers, such as payment gateways and other payment transaction processors, have their own privacy policies in respect to the information we are required to provide to them for your purchase-related transactions.
For these providers, we recommend that you read their privacy policies so you can understand the manner in which your personal information will be handled by these providers.
In particular, remember that certain providers may be located in or have facilities that are located a different jurisdiction than either you or us. We use Mailchimp as our email marketing automation program. When you click to submit the email subscription form, the information you provide will be transferred to Mailchimp for processing in accordance with their privacy policy and terms.
