What to Expect from Brenda's Workshops

Like my classes, my workshops are based on my designs. Most workshops are one-day events (or rarely, two-day events). The emphasis is on results. Workshop participants are expected to leave the workshop with a finished project.

Often my workshops are tied in with some other event: for example, if I have been invited to give my Trunk Show talk to a quilting guild, they may also offer a workshop for interested members the next day.

Participants must have a sewing machine and rotary cutter, mat and quilting rulers. Because we are moving quickly through the steps of the pattern, generally there is an expectation that all fabric will already be purchased and even cut to size before we begin the workshop. For this reason, most workshops are geared more for the intermediate level of quilter, and not the complete beginner.

If your store or quilting guild is interested in hosting one of my workshops, samples are available for promotional display in a retail venue depending on availability. Contact me at millbr@sympatico.ca to arrange for your shop sample.
